DUE TO RECENT AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION AND THE INFLUENCE AND TAKE OVER OF THE MANUFACTURER/EXPORTER/IMPORTER OF THIS BRAND PAPER BY MULTINATIONAL WOOD CHIP COMPANIES THIS PAPER IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT TO AUSTRALIA. THE ECOCERN REAL 100% POST-CONSUMER GRAY BROWN PAPER IS STILL AVAILABLE THAT IS MADE LOCALLY AND MADE ONLY FROM THE FRUITS OF OUR RECYCLING EFFORTS. THIS IS A GRAY/BROWN PAPER A BETTER SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE, AS ONLY MADE FROM DOMESTIC AND INDUSTRIAL PAPER SCRAP. THE WHITE PAPER SCRAP IS IN SHORT SUPPLY. WHEN LASER PRINTING ECOCERN GRAY/BROWN PAPER IT IS BEST TO CHECK THAT THE PRINTER SETTINGS ARE FOR THICKER PAPER. THIS PAPER WORKS VERY WELL IN ALL PRINTERS WITH LESS PAPER JAMS THAN WHITE PAPER. THIS PAPER PRINTS WELL IN COLOUR SEE PICTURE BELOW.
AS YET ECOCERN IS NOT SATISFIED CLAIMS OF OTHER PAPERS ARE TRUE DUE TO THE FAILURE OF THESE COMPANIES TO SIGN DOCUMENTS TO ENSURE THE PRODUCT IS REAL 100% POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED, MOSTLY IN USA WHO EXPORTS PRINTERS PAPERS TO AUSTRALIA. HOWEVER THE IMPORTER HAS JUST BEEN TAKEN OVER BY NIPPON DAISHOU, WHICH MEANS PROBABLY THE END OF SUPPLY, WHO NOW ALMOST HAS THE MONOPOLY ON ALL WHITE PAPER.
STOCK OF EVOLVE WHITE POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED COPY PAPER IS AVAILABLE AS A REPLACEMENT. FROM FRANCE HOWEVER THE IMPORTATION OF THIS PAPER IS NO LONGER VIABLE DUE TO RECENT GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION GIVING THE MONOPOLY MANUFACTURER IN AUSTRALIA WHO REFUSES TO MAKE REAL 100% POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED WHITE PAPER AS CLEAN WHITE PAPER SCRAP SELLS FOR $300 + PER TON AND GIPPSLAND WOOD CHIP IS ALMOST FREE. GOVERNMENT CHANGE MAY REPEAL THE LEGISLATION HOPEFULLY. IF YOU MUST USE WHITE PAPER FOR SOME REASON FINDING STOCK IS A PROBLEM AND A HEFTY IMPORT DUTY MAKES IT VERY EXPENSIVE.
100% recycled copy paper.
Ecocern is proud to present Steinbeis Trend A4 100% post-consumer recycled copy paper now available manufactured by the worlds leading sustainable, recycled white copy paper mill in Germany. This paper even with shipping has a smaller CO2 foot print than our locally produced paper. This paper is only made from recovered paper fibre collected from households and industry and is far sustainably superior than any so called recycled paper made in Australia, by the multinational wood chipping monopoly of fine paper manufacture and distribution we have in Australia. These unsustainable products are also usually sold through chain stores nationally and unethical on line companies that often sell products falsely as recycled.
PRETEND RECYCLED WHITE COPY PAPER MADE BY MULTINATIONAL OLD GROWTH FOREST WOOD CHIPPERS.
Be sure your white copy paper is 100% post-consumer recycled and not some pretend recycled white copy paper or paper made by an old growth forest wood chip company. Good reading is: The Wilderness Society boycott Reflex and SMH recycling is not what it seems.
As this paper is not chemically bleached and manufactured in a closed loop system.
DYSLEXIA WORSENED BY BLEACHED WHITE COPY PAPER
The CIE brightness is 85, that is helpful for the 20% of the population who suffer from Dyslexia. This paper is a better alternative to ultra white copy paper that has substantial glare that contributes to Dyslexia, apart from the environmental impacts.
Please see the following sites for relevant info re: dyslexia and paper colour…

Up to 1 person in 5 (20% of the population) suffers from some degree of dyslexia from the very mild to the most extreme. Under these circumstances and given the awareness around support for disability, it seems appropriate that this choice be now available.

BROWN ECOCERN COPY PAPER MADE IN AUSTRALIA AUSTRALIAN OWNED NOT OWNED BY NATIVE FOREST WOOD CHIPPERS
Ecocern makes a brown gray copy paper in Australia from locally collected paper scrap from households and industry. This paper scrap is being wasted as not all of it is being used. If all copy paper was this gray brown copy paper no scrap paper would be dumped causing the release of methane, a bad greenhouse gas. Quality white office paper scrap is in short supply that is used top make recycled white copy paper, much of which contains mill broke, that is normally recycled in virgin paper production. Steinbeis copy paper only used white recovered scrap to make Tend copy paper. Ecocern considers it a better alternative for those who must use white paper, than supporting Nippon Daishou the worlds biggest old growth native forest wood chipper who owns all white copy paper production in Australia. They also own almost every brand of retail stationery with the exception of Ecocern. A good example of what they are doing is clear fell logging old growth forest in Gippsland Victoria. Apart from the catastrophic climatic damage it also is a major cause of water shortage in the area as forest stores water and attacts rainfall as rain forest does.
SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE PAPER.
Using real 100% post-consumer recycled papers demonstrates the social responsibility of your organization that can only be a plus for it’s image. It also demonstrates that it is not a head in sand plodder association. Be ware of Australian copy paper that is made in the only white copy paper mill in Australia that is sold in disguise by green wash organizations under their so called eco trade marks, brands or so called green websites to avoid boycotts like: The Wilderness Society ” Take the pledge boycott Reflex”.
Be part of the sustainable solution not part of the problem.
