PRETEND RECYCLED PAPER AND CARDBOARD PRODUCTS

For a cardboard or paper product to be real recycled it must be made from post-consumer recycled paper collected from households and industry. Numerous paper products falsely claim to be recycled that often come from mills in World Heritage forest isolated areas. It is most unlikely they are actually made from domestic paper scrap. These mills are also cagey about their mill operation. Some large Asian paper company products are now banned in Europe as from protected forest wood chip illegally logged and sold with false or trick wording recycled claims. Be ware as it is impossible to verify if the product is real recycled.  Just because a paper product is brown it does not necessarily mean it is recycled. White paper is usually not recycled and is often sold in bulk below the price of high grade paper scrap as native forest wood chip is almost free.
