Kraft A3 box board, dark brown in colour, is usually made from new wood chip and contains no real recycled paper fibre. The gray colouration and microscopic pieces of coloured paper scrap is a good indication of genuine recycled cardboard and paper. This box gray/brown board is 320 or 230 GSM (Grams per Square Metre), about 1mm thick, is commonly uses for, solid board boxes, cards, packaging, folders and numerous items of gray brown paper packaging and stationery. Brown cardboard Australian made and owned.
FALSE RECYCLED CLAIMS NOT ON GENUINE RECYCLED CARDBOARD
If you are offered just brown paper packaging, it is likely it is not recycled at all. Misleading claims such as “Recyclable” ( Able to be recycled ) , “Recycle” ( To recycle in the future tense ) and “Recycled Content” (How much recycled content +.1%? ) may infer it is recycled. Selecting Ecocern products, that are only made from local paper scrap and locally manufactured by, Australian owned factories, insures true sustainability as these products are made only from the fruit of your recycling efforts. Another recent trick is to say on a bag fir example “Use recycled brown paper”. These bags are often made in China from world heritage forest wood chip. Eco shops using these bags, beg the question : “Are the products really sustainable or organic??” Thin brown paper or white paper is not real 100% post-consumer recycled.

BROWN RECYCLED PAPER SUSTAINABILITY
Ecocern also has brown A3 copy paper 105 gsm as well any size you may require . Ecocern recycled paper products are available wholesale to all. When you buy eco paper and cardboard the most sustainable green product is a product that is only made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper collected from households and industry. This paper scrap is low grade that is available in glut proportions. High grade office paper scrap is in short supply and so using products made from this paper is doing little for sustainability as you are not using the paper you have put out for recycling. Also green eco marketers of brown paper often claim it to be recycled when it is not or has a minimal content of real recycled paper.
Ecocern offers colour laser printing on paper cardboard and envelopes. If printing on your office printer check “Properties” for correct GSM. If the GSM setting is too low the toner will not properly melt to the paper. If you want to print your own cardboard the 230 GSM works in most printers and the 320 GSM works in bigger printers. Best to check the settings that need to be around 300GSM for the cardboard if the thicker grade is used,
