These organizations often market multinational wood chip companies products. Supporting these companies assists with their often illegal logging of world heritage forest globally. Kraft brown paper and dark brown paper are typically not recycled and are very often falsely marketed as such. Almost all areas of paper and product manufacturing are owned by one global wood chipper with the only exception of 100% post-consumer recycled papers and card boards such as Ecocern paper products. This bulk recycled paper is often used by printers, digital printers as well as by craft supply organizations and paper product manufacturers. This gray brown paper is an environmentally sustainable alternative to kraft brown paper, that is usually not recycled or may only contain a minimal quantity of pre-consumer recycled paper. This brown kraft paper is often misleadingly labelled as “recyclable” which some people think means; “recycled”, when the product is only able to be recycled.  Brown paper bags and carry bags are often made from this paper.
